Graham Martin

Graham Martin graduated from the University of Toronto with a B. Mus. and since, has divided his time teaching elementary school and freelancing with most of the orchestras in the free world.  As a founding member of the Onyx Wind Quintet, he has participated in the Banff, Orford, and Domaine Forget music festivals; has taken part in international chamber music competitions in Munich, Germany and Osaka, Japan; and has done live recitals on CBC Radio and at Roy Thomson Hall as part of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra’s Young People’s Concert Series.  As a contrabassoonist, Graham has performed with the Guelph Symphony Orchestra, Sudbury Symphony Orchestra, and Mandle Philharmonic Orchestra among others. He can also often be found playing clarinets and saxes in pit bands for several Toronto-area theatre companies.
